Georg Jensen "Ornamental" Sterling Fork and "Blossom" Sugar Tongs: A pairing of sterling silver flatware by Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. This includes a two-tine cold cut serving fork in the Ornamental #21 pattern, featuring a curved, Art Nouveau style handle with beaded and flower petal tip. It is stamped to the back “21 Denmark Sterling” alongside the “GI” beaded maker’s mark, dating this piece to circa 1910-1925. Also presented are a pair of sugar tongs in the Blossom pattern with leaf-shaped tips and flower bud designed handles. It is marked to one side “Sterling” and to the other “Denmark”. The total approximate weight is 1.335 ozt.Vintage Chair, Needlepoint and Magazine Rack: A vintage chair, needlepoint and magazine rack. The chair features an arched crest rail with added brass-tone metal handle and a curved caned back rest. The round seat is upholstered in black faux leather with button tufting and nail head trim. The chair is tagged “Made by Hickory Chair Company, Hickory, North Carolina.” The walnut magazine holder is from “Cornwall Wood Products” and a framed sampler, wired to hang and with a personal inscription on the back.Hand-Knotted Joshegan Wool Runner Rug: A hand-knotted Joshegan wool runner rug. The runner features a central medallion worked in shades of cochineal red, ivory, gray, black, and cadet blue with a stepped border design on a red field. The field is populated with a rectilinear pattern of stylized flowers and vines worked in the same palette, with the addition of coral. The multiple inner borders are sawtooth or stepped and abut a meander border with a red ground. The unresolved primary border has an ivory ground with stylized flowers, foliage, and palmettes. Short natural fringe to each end. Unmarked.Gorham "Lyric" Sterling Silver Flatware Set: A sterling silver flatware set for twelve by Gorham of Providence, RI (established 1831). This is in the James Russell Price designed Lyric pattern, first introduced in 1940, which features a twist design around the handles. This 107 piece set includes twelve hollow handle dinner knives, thirteen salad forks, eight iced tea spoons, twenty-nine spoons of varying sizes, thirteen flat handle butter spreaders, ten dessert forks, fourteen luncheon knives, an entree fork, a flat handle master butter knife, a hollow handle pie server, a hollow handle carving set, three serving spoons, and a ladle. The forks and spoons are stamped on the reverse “Gorham Sterling Pat. 1940” to the stem and then “Lyric” to the back of the handle. Items come in a wooden, silver cloth lined storage box. The total approximate weight, is 106.955 ozt.Vintage English Teacups and Saucers: A collection of four porcelain teacups and saucers. Offered in this group are four assorted sets, all decorated with colorful floral motifs. This includes a demitasse spoon in the Charles A Bennett designed Hepplewhite pattern by Reed & Barton, first introduced in 1907, which has a personalized engraving of “MFM” to the handle. It is presented with two clips of “W” and “P” by Apollo Silver Company, a napkin ring by Gorham with engraving of “DLF” to the side, another napkin ring, an Ohio Northern University souvenir spoon by Lunt Silversmiths, and a small spoon with figural shaped tip. This piece depicts cupid on the lap of a fairy-winged woman, flowers and grasses at her feet. The piece is surrounded by a border of molded fruit and is presented against a black backing in a gold tone frame, a wire to the verso for hanging.Gorham Sterling Silver "Chantilly" Spoons: A collection of four Gorham sterling silver spoons in the Chantilly pattern.
