This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, terracotta, amber, ivory, sky blue, rose, wine, and charcoal. The abrashed field features an indigo colored lozenge and terracotta spandrels with sawtooth borders. The lozenge features a central floral medallion along with sprays and flower filled vases. Framing the field is an unresolved ornate floral patterned main border with bold floral meander guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a short natural warp fringe to the ends.
