A Life Collected: The Catherine Ross Trust Burgess Auctions is pleased to present the Catherine Ross Trust, a distinctive private collection assembled over decades by Catherine and Dr. Edward Ross and displayed throughout their approximately 11,000-square-foot Northside Indianapolis residence. The auction features a broad selection of Asian decorative arts, including Chinese porcelain, cloisonn?, Blanc de Chine, carved hardstone, lacquerware and decorative furnishings; Japanese woodblock prints by artists including Kunisada, Chikanobu and Sadanobu III; Western art and sculpture, including works after Frederic Remington, Bev Doolittle, Frank McCarthy and Mary Regat; Josephine Baker and Jazz Age posters and ephemera; and Randy Cooper's dramatic Diana wire-mesh shadow sculpture.
