Description & Details

Fine Group of Well Documented Ancient Flint, Stone and Pottery pieces. Superb specimens with good history. Many from the Dale Rector Collection. Dale and Vivian have collected artifacts for 30 plus years. They had a keen eye and loved anything made of Wyandotte chert (Indiana Hornstone) and Sonora flint. They especially enjoyed collecting local artifacts. They also enjoyed artifacts such as stone, beading, historic items and pottery from the United States and Central America. When they could no longer hunt fields and rivers due to health reasons, they would hunt ?People with Artifacts.? They attended several artifact shows, auctions, and word-of-mouth around the community.
