First of several estate sales to clear out our old historical family home - open to the public for the first time in 55+ years:

3 buildings on the property: Office, Garage & House. - Everything must go!

3 weekends: Aug 7-9 plus Aug 14-16 plus Aug 21-23 - Friday-Sunday 10am - 5pm each day

ANTIQUES & COLLECTABLES (House) - This high end historical house has lots of unique antiques including hand blown Murano Italian gold rimmed wine glasses, fine China (Minton, Wedgewood, Lenox, French, German, Villroy & Bosh among others), mid century modern Scandinavian serving pieces, vases, Victorian silver plate, crystal (American Brilliant, Heisey etc), blue glass dishware, antique poison bottles, copperware, pewter, brass, candy molds, regional books & antique prints, Gothic day bed, 18th century high backed chairs, colonial end tables, 3D sculptures, native American Kachina dolls & fetishes, political & GAR pins, 2D art (notable painters) & presidential autographs, oriental rugs, as well as more everyday household furniture like leather couches, standing lamps, solid wood dressers, beds, tables, men's suits and Pendleton wool shirts, hats, lamps, WWII trunk+hats & uniforms, oriental rugs, jewelry, holiday, and so much more!!

BIG BOOK & MEDIA SALE (Office) - about 3000 books most between $1-$4 each. Fiction: wide range of mystery, spy thrillers, poetry, Harry Potter, & Science fiction. Non-fiction: an especially diverse selection of rare and hard to find books covering all topics from philosophy, psychology, sociology, various wars, medieval history, Native American cultures, religion, Irish history, boxing & wrestling, coffee table books, as well as more every day books about cooking, gardening, house fixing, atlases, specialized dictionaries, and other reference and text books. Language books in French, Italian and some German as well as dictionary and grammar books for various other languages just to name a few topics. (Antique books, first and signed editions priced separately and sold in the house). MEDIA: Records, CDs, & cassette tapes (John Denver to jazz, classical, & hard to find and unique & local artists), VHS tapes and DVDs (battles, boxing, British TV shows and exercise).

EVERY DAY ITEMS & TOOL SALE (Garage) - Lots of practical every days items for your car, garden, yard and home sold in the garage. Every tool you need for your home or garden, riding lawn mower, push mower, tiler, and other power tools, set to make jams/jellies, stained glass, bikes, auto supplies, shelving, loads of office/school supplies, cheaper oriental rugs, puzzles, luggage, every day household kitchen items like coffee makers, pots and pans, corning-ware, mixing bowls, bathroom supplies, linens, chairs and more! In the yard we have a few patio sitting sets, a BBQ, garden art, plant pots, an antique toy tractor, pedestals, garden benches, sculptures and the like.

Notes: We're unboxing stuff all the time and new items will be available through out the sale. We're cleaning out the house for sale so everything must go. If you are interested in the house/property itself, leave your name at the check out desk and we'll contact you once we are ready to list it.

Pickup for larger items after 5pm or as scheduled, possibility of local delivery after hours for large purchases, ask at checkout.

Parking available on 21st street, on Mitchell Lane and Owens lane as well as on Alabama Street (and of course Lawrence High school 2 blocks away). Please leave the driveway open for people dropping off & picking up people who don't want to walk in the heat, or picking up larger purchases. Air conditioning available in the house and office.
