Regarding the saxophone:

Due to sale logistics and security concerns, the Selmer tenor saxophone will only be available on Saturday, August 1 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. Interested buyers may view the saxophone during this window of time. Buyers may express their intent to buy in writing on a form that will be provided and the saxophone will be sold, first come first serve, at the price of $7500. If there are multiple buyers all present at the same time, and are all willing to pay the same asking price, the saxophone will be sold by auction to the highest bidder. If no buyer purchases the saxophone during that window of time at the asking price then interested buyers may make offers. All offers will be considered and the saxophone MAY be sold to the highest bidder. A reserve sale price will be in place. Out of town buyers are all eligible to purchase and buyers do not have to be present to purchase. That being said… buyers who are in person will be given priority over out of town buyers not present.

The instrument will be listed in the Estate Sale at the sale price of $7500. Methods of payment will be cash only for in person Buyers and authorized bank wire transfer for out-of-town buyers.

Questions regarding purchase may be directed at any time to Bluestem Estate Sales at 913–226–0074. You may at any time request a FaceTime call to view the saxophone in more detail.

This is a Selmer Mark XI tenor saxophone manufactured by the Henri Selmer company of Paris and manufactured in France. The serial number is M237119.

This instrument is in good playable condition and has been inspected by a professional music company. It would be graded in the medium condition. It is fully playable from the low to the high end of its range. It has original lacquer. It shows normal signs of use and wear with some scuffing and minor dings. It shows some sign of a possible drop on the lower portion of the Bell. We have included multiple photos to show the instrument, including these notations. It would not have to be re-padded or keyed but a purchaser might choose to do so for optimal performance. It is overall a great working saxophone. It is included in a new Gator case.. The instrument has five mouthpieces and a few accessories.

For additional questions please call Bluestem Estate Sales at 913–226–0074.

The Soprano saxophone shown in the sale photos will be available throughout the entire sale
