**Sale is located on Linden Lane, one short and sweet block west of 83rd Terrace and Roe Ave in Prairie Village. Address will be posted Saturday, August 17th.  

**All valuables will be kept off site until sale day.

Smiley face, fist bump, high five and happy day at this SALE and in this amazing home (which is for sale, by the by!) … YOWZA, what a collection of SO much darling, delightful and quality furniture, sterling, handbags, shoes (omg, the shoes!)!  It’s a must go-to sale so let’s get to it …

The rugs!  Believe I lost count as we kept finding them, but it’s a serious selection … 12’ x 15’ and a 14’ x 12’ to runners to entry hall and hand-knotted to custom-cut to Kilim to Peking … you get the idea, check out the pics!

The furniture!  That French sideboard needsto be in my home but alas, one of you lucky bugs will own it Sunday!  Excellent condition and can be used in almost any room (except my house and maybe your laundry room).

Nice Bradington Young  brown leather club chair, the sweetest eggshell upholstered arm chairs w wood accents, pair of eggshell upholstered distressed chairs …

A Jonathan Charles white leather bench that doubles as a piece of art (love!), a long huntboard – needs a little tending to but will be worth the effort …

Highland House burgundy/copper button back settee/sofa and a Hickory leather ottoman – both from Madden McFarland, a 6-shelf dark wood ettigierre/étagère – it’s substantial …

   The kitchen stuff!  Ohhhh the Le Creuset – 7 pieces (see pictures), Hermes dog plates, pots n’ pans, terrific utensils (must be for me to mention them), 

A classic set of William Yeoman water goblets and 2 martini glasses, a delightful set of Furstenburg dishes with bird motif, and an equally as delightful set of Limoges dishes …

Peking glass, Nambe, 8 delicate Juliska Amalia green wine glasses, orange key pattern Port Meirion dishes, Mottahedeh, 5 bar stools, 2 lapis animal figurines and 2 small lapis boxes …

The Louis Vuitton!  3 Keepalls in sizes 50, 55 and 60, a bucket shoulder bag, zipper-pouch makeup bag, an eyeglass case and a smaller handbag with a broken zipper :( … 

Several Longchamp bags, 2 nylon Prada shoulder bags, and a stunning Judith Lieber evening bag – tho really, carry that beauty to brunch or to the office or where’er you wanna.  Judith baby wants to go out.  And no one puts baby in the corner.

The lamps!  Unsure when we’ve had this many lamps that span the style board and the years … antique to current and just plain cool…

Four chandeliers – one cooler than the next: a large antique metal with a delicious patina, matching (tho sold separately) French gold/crystal, and a new in box 6 light …

6 aqua-green pots, lotsa nice plants in nice pots including 2 large brown-tone planter pots out front, a curly-swirly and heavy fireplace screen, board placemats in black, floral and horses …

Many glazed terra cotta figurines, 2 antique lead tobacco jars, 10-pc Monkey Band, Mud Men, antique apothecary jars, Churchill Downs drinking glasses …

Steuben:  medium size and 2 smaller bowls, set of 4 hi-ball glasses, a spectacular and perfectly patina-ed large cast metal Chinese figure of a man we are calling “Grandfather” …

Two exquisite heavy (iron?) gold horse figurines on bases – yes, we named them Secretariat and Seabiscuit – sold separately, pair of antique marble top wall shelf sconces …

4 pairs of Staffordshire dogs, a large 6 panel room divider screen, lovely burgundy upholstered bench … 

Great selection of colognes, large concrete garden pagoda, a pair of ‘heavy as hades’ flying lion table bases, 2 concrete benches, metal outdoor lounger, 2 Plaza-esque banners (1 bike, 1 art) …

3 stunning 18th century Chinese Madarin bowls in 3 sizes, Anna Weatherley bowl, beautiful piece of Chinese Rose Quartz on stand, a realllly big pottery bowl.  Big. …

A 4’ long brass “tray” – used to be a table top but could be wall art or added to some unique base for a coffee table or perhaps a sofa table.  Heck, use it to change your oil if you want if you buy it.  Those were just some awesome suggestions …

The Sterling Silver!  There is morethan in the pictures but suffice it to say it’s a grrreat selection … Tiffany sterling ice bucket, tray, jigger, cocktail shaker, salt/pepper shaker, pepper grinder, … also have sterling boxes, including one by William Spratling, cream/sugar with dog heads on front, serving pieces, large tongs, 2 sets of Otaduy gravy boat and trays, AND a pair of 800 sterling silver roosters and more!  These are available at the Valuables Table and all will be offsite until sale day …

2 closets of clothing as well as several ‘prom-like’ dresses, Hartmann carry-on, Ghurka and other nice handbags, small Hermes scarf, cast iron jockey figurines …

Let’s review the pesky little details:

** Please park where appropriate and do not block neighbors driveways or on their lawns.  Nope, don’t do it.

** If you get to the sale before we open, please place a line marker on the driveway by the sign that says “line begins here”.  You may go back to your car or hang with your homies, but if you leave the area you will lose your place in line and that’s a sufficient enough reason to be a rule follower. 

** Valuables will be kept off property til sale day

** Nothing for sale in the backyard

** The Blue Tape A Team does not assist with moving items – HOWEVER comma a moving company we use frequently said they may be in the area on Sunday … sweet.
