Terms & Conditions
Thank you for taking the time to review the terms and conditions below carefully. This is an ONLINE ONLY auction. There is a 15% buyers premium and applicable sales tax will be charged. If you are tax exempt, notify us before the auction closes.

1. Registration: To bid, register, and create a username and password. This is a Hibid auction. So, if you are already registered on HIbid, you will use that log-in information. A valid credit card submitted at the time of registration is required for bidding.
2. Payment Method: Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card. The card you register with will be charged at the end of the auction for the full amount of your invoice, including your bid, the buyer’s premium and any applicable tax. Please be sure there is enough balance to cover your purchases.
3. Buyer's Premium: A 15% buyer's fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: If the total for all items purchased is $100.00, the Buyer's Premium applied will be $15.00. Your total invoice is $115.00).
4. Due Diligence: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed, and each bidder is responsible for conducting independent due diligence concerning items of interest. There will be a published preview time listed with each auction. We strongly suggest the bidder view the auction items in person if at all possible. 5. Warranty: All items are sold as is, where is, without warranty expressed or implied.
6. Changes to the Auction: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice.
7. Agency: HorsefeathersKC is an agent of the seller only.
8. Soft Closing: HorsefeathersKC auctions are designed to allow everyone to participate and bid. At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within two minutes of its closing time, it will remain open for two additional minutes. If another bid is placed within that time, it will remain open until all "dynamic" bids have ceased.
9. Successful Bidder: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible for paying for the lot(s) you have won at the price of your final bid.
10. Payment: At the close of the auction, the credit card you provided will be automatically charged for the total price of your purchases plus a 15% Buyer's Premium and any applicable tax. Contact HorsefeathersKC@gmail.com if you are tax exempt before the auction begins closing.
11. Item Pick-Up: You are responsible for picking up and removing all items you have purchased. All items must be picked up on the designated day and time unless arrangements are made ahead of time. You will need to present your paid invoice at pick-up. Please make arrangements before you arrive if you need help with removal or loading. All items not picked up on time or made arrangements for will be forfeited.
12. Technical Issues: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, HorsefeathersKC reserves the right to extend bidding, continue bidding, or close the bidding in the auction.
13. Neither the company providing the software nor HorsefeathersKC shall be held responsible for a missed bid or the failure of the software to function properly for any reason. An email notification will be sent to registered bidders with updated information as deemed necessary. If you are not getting email notifications from HorsefeathersKC, please check your spam/junk files. Email us at horsefeatherskc@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
14. Shipping: Shipping is available for small to medium-sized items. We work with a local UPS franchise for packing and shipping. It's not necessary to contact UPS beforehand. Just let us know if you need shipping, and we will release items to UPS. They will contact you directly to discuss shipping options and costs, and then you will pay them directly. If you want packing and shipping estimates you can contact them during regular business hours and BEFORE THE AUCTION CLOSES: 913-722-1146 or email: ups2923@gmail.com.
If you need shipping on larger items we recommend contacting Craters & Frieghters, UShip or other freight companies.
HorsefeathersKC reserves the right to deny shipping at any time and for any item.
