Cash, good Checks w/ID, and Visa, Master Card &, Discover credit cards. Credit purchases must be a minimum of $20.00 or more. Checks are limited to the amount of $300.00 or less. Buyers are responsible for wrapping their breakable items and bringing their own boxes and wrapping materials. We ask that large furniture items be scheduled to move following the sale's conclusion. Please bring help to load your larger items. Help is not always available by sale staff if you are not physically able to move the items on your own. Larger item moving can sometimes be facilitated to your residence, however, the cost is negotiated between the buyer and the movers who typically assist our company. We do not routinely provide moving services. Not responsible for accidents. All items sold "as is where is". No returns. No public restrooms. No early sales. Jewelry and valuable items will be removed at the end of each business day. All sales final.

Covid hasn't disappeared altogether. We are asking our customers to observe social distancing as much as possible and to stay away if feeling ill. . It is our hope that any customer not yet vaccinated will take responsibility for the safety of others and wear a mask and observe social distancing.

We try and answer all questions sent by email in timely fashion but please understand that sometimes it just isn't possible due to very busy schedules. It is also very difficult to answer phone calls during the sale itself. Please try and make any inquiries as early as possible before the sale begins. Description & Details

This is a wonderful sale representing an individual who lived a very successful, full, and exciting life.   She was well traveled, loved  art, and unusual items.  The sale also includes beautiful personal belongings of several other persons who have asked to participate as a result of moving to senior living, or who are downsizing. As a result, this sale event is very eclectic and provides a wide array of interesting items and antiques.  We hope that everyone who attends enjoys this sale and finds a treasure or bargain to take home.  We will look forward to seeing everyone, visiting with familiar customers, and making friends with new folks.   Don't miss this one!

We will be adding items, additional pictures, and descriptive labels for the pictures throughout this week. We have numerous wonderful artworks and several bronzes to post to the ad.  Also will be showing some sets of sterling flatware and pics of good jewelry.   Please check back frequently to see what is new!

Artwork:

Two  paintings by well known and celebrated Midwest artist, Cally Krallman.. They are numbers 1 and 31 in the pictures we have posted.  Number 1 is untitled and is an oil on canvas.  Number 31 is titled "Bob's Stone Wall" and is an acrylic on canvas. Both are quite large.  BEAUTIFUL !

Harvest Evening - Oil on canvas by Robert R. Smith  -   He is a well known Midwest impressionist artist. He is known for poetic still lifes and landscapes.

Street Fair - Watercolor by Galen "Duke" Senogles.  Mr. Senogles was a Topeka resident and popular local artist in the 60's, 70's and 80's - Merry and colorful.

Brown Houses in Snow- Watercolor by Margie Kuhn. Margie is a well-known Lawrence, KS artist.  Her career has spanned over 45 years. This piece dates from 1979.

Knot - Watercolor by Mimi Raney.  This work was completed in 1980 and conveys an inspired and gentle use of light and color.

Mother and Child - Watercolor by J. Hawkins.  Painted in 1913.

My Chimayo Orchard - Hand pulled lithographic print created by Joan Foth.  Ms. Foth is a Topeka based artist with national recognition.  One of her watercolors      graced the cover of William Least Heat Moon's iconic book Prairie Earth.

Untitled Abstract Painting - Mixed media - Oil and cloth patches on canvas by Margaret Ramberg - Also a celebrated Topeka artist

Thai Temple Paper Rubbing - Charcoal on paper. Many historical sites now restrict making these rubbings due to the wearing down of the underlying stones.

Thawing Cornfield - Oil on paper by Robert Sudlow - He is one of the most celebrated of Kansas artists.  His impressionist interpretations of Kansas landscapes  are legendary.

Burt's Pond, Spring Evening -Oil on paper by Robert Sudlow -   Although he passed away in 2010, he remains one of the most sought after and legendary Kansas artists. of this generation.

Music-Ladder to the Soul - Pencil signed giclee print by  Hatke - Midwest based artist who is nationally recognized for his "photorealistic" style and quiet interpretation of life settings.

Blue Hills- Hand colored lithograph by Louis Copt.  Well-known Lawrence based artist who has established a remarkable spot in the art world over the last 20 years with evolving styles and brightly colored modernist imagery.

Ceramic scupture on a wood base- by Jack Wright -  Mr. Wright was a professor at Washburn University from 1957 to 1988. Highly recognized for his ceramic vessels and sculpture.

Foggy Creek - Watercolor by Barbara Petro, well-known Topeka artist

C. Faudree Kitchen - Original watercolor by Jim Steinmeyer.   Mr. Steinmeyer is a Postwar and Contemporary artist known for his detailed paintings in the "Gardens and Pavilions of Europe" series.

"Beach Party" -  Large bronze figurines by L' Deane Trueblood  Ms. Trueblood passed away at age 95.  She was well-known for her wonderful sculptures which graced many parks, gardens, and public venues.   She lived in St. George, Utah where over 30 of her sculptures enhance downtown St. George today.

"Hiding Place" - Painted bronze by Carole A. Bradford.  She is known for her beautiful bronze sculptures of SW wildlife.

Tender Touch - Bronze sculpture of horses nuzzling each other - Lovely piece that is comforting and inspiring.

Chinese Scroll - Ink on paper displayed in clear acrylic box  This depicts a beautifully drawn and dynamic image of a horse.

Untitled interior image - Watercolor by Beth Neuer-  Beth was one of the founders of "The Collective" in Topeka and she was known for the bright and beautiful colors of her paintings.

Bridge on the Semur - Engraving from 1916  - Artist unknown  This is known as a "gift print"  given to "best customers" beginning in the late 1800's.

Luminous Presence - Intaglio print/artist's proof by Josephina Escudero  She was a well-known Filipino artist who moved to Topeka when her psychiatrist husband took a position with the Menninger Foundation. Her works are still prized by collectors in both countries.

John Paul II in Albania - Unknown artist - This work celebrates the visit of Pope John Paul II to Albania, the birthplace of Mother Theresa.  Dated 1993.

Print in the manner of Utamaro- Wood Block Print - Artist Unknown ( Dates from WWII)

January Rain - Hand pulled lithographic print by Marilyn Richter - Ms. Richter was an art instructor at the Mulvane Art Center and at the Menninger Children's Hospital.  Tragically she passed away as the result of an accident at age 53.  This print was made in 1982.

Flint Hills Sunset - Watercolor by Hans Fischer, a Lawrence, Kansas artist who demonstrated remarkable ability and achieved recognition after taking up watercolor painting in his retirement years.
