This desk has a story. It has to be close to 200 years old Ross said it was passed down from his Grand-dad. It sits atop of a desk or table, very functional. Some of the pieces are not original like the magnates used to keep the leaf in the closed position and also the hinges. There is some nice detail in the woodwork. There are a few character building spots that show its age. All in all it is very sturdy.
