Frank McElwain Limited Edition Signed Offset Lithograph Print "The Queen City Public Landing": A signed limited edition offset lithograph by artist Frank McElwain (born 1942) titled The Queen City Public Landing. This stunning work depicts Cincinnati’s prominence in the late 1800’s, with the shore of the Ohio River teeming with life and activity and bustling with business. In this scene, massive steamboats are seen rolling into port, with the John A. Roebling bridge, opened in 1866, serving as a backdrop. This print is signed in plate as well as in pencil to lower right, and is numbered 185/375. Mounted beneath dual layers of coordinating mats, this print is presented behind glass in a beveled wood frame with a warm finish. Attached is a small working picture light, ready to hang.Antique English Quarter Sawn Oak Wardrobe: A late-19th to early-20th Century English wardrobe constructed of exquisite quarter sawn oak. This handsome wardrobe was made by Bath Cabinet Makers, in business in England from 1895 until the mid-20th Century, they were known for their handcrafted furniture and fittings for the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth luxury liners. This wardrobe features a resting crown with intricate interlaced marquetry over the cabinet with a center front door, oval mirror and full-width base drawer. The interior of the wardrobe retains the original hanging bars with affixed hooks and a center three-arm hook. The door has an ornate ring pull and lock escutcheon, the drawer has two similar ornate ring pulls. The wardrobe rises on short block legs. Marked to the interior “BCM/HL Registered Design”.Selection of Rookwood Faience "Chesapeake Cattails" Tiles: A three-piece set of Rookwood Pottery Faience polychrome glazed tiles in the Chesapeake Cattails design. The tiles orient vertically.Twenty Antique Books: A group of antique books that includes cloth bound and leather covers.
