Victorian Gothic Revival Carved Walnut Writing Desk: A Victorian Gothic Revival writing desk in walnut. The front is heavily carved and opens out to reveal a fitted interior with drawers and shelves inside. There is a keyhole escutcheon but no key. The legs are turned with two turned side supports. The bottom sides are connected a by a shaped H stretcher atop scrolled feet.Framed Original Acrylic on Board: A framed acrylic on board signed ‘Lori’ for American artist Lori Bauman of Milwaukee. The painting depicts a colorful scene of a country road in the Fall. It is framed in a burl walnut type wood with copper tone inner edging. It is wired for hanging.Mixed Wood Tilt Top Table: A tilt top pedestal table. Crafted in walnut and maple this table features a square top with serpentine molded edge in a two tone finish. Top rests upon maple turned pedestal with carved detail set on four cabriole legs with claw and ball feet in a semi-gloss finish.Richfield Plate Co. Quadruple Plate Tea Set: A four piece quadruple plate tea set from Richfield Plate Co. Included is a small teapot, two sugar bowls and a creamer. All are engraved on both sides. The teapot has a hinged lid and one of the sugar bowls has a detachable lid. Items are marked on the base with the company name, quadruple and 2198.Camusso Sterling Silver Antique Vanity Mirror: A Camusso sterling silver antique vanity mirror. The mirror is framed in sterling with a shell motif. It has a hook for hanging on the back.Hepplewhite Style Mahogany Writing Desk: A Hepplewhite style mahogany writing desk. The desk is a slender rectangular design with a serpentine edge on the front. There are three front drawers, one long and two short, with machine cut dovetails and brass tone knobs with a pineapple design. Legs are square and tapered.Jacobean Style Side Chairs: A pair of upholstery covered Jacobean side chairs. Labels for upholstery read G. Bitter’s Sons in Louisville, KY. Chairs have turned legs and support in front and squared in back. Side legs are connect at the base by a squared rail. Chair backs have turned posts and upholstery is framed above and below with shell accent carving. Two short finials top each chair post.Console Table in Walnut with Barley Twist Legs: A console table in walnut with barley twist legs, from Arthur Newberry in Reading, England, circa late 19th to early 20th century. There is a metal label in the drawer from the furniture company. There is one long drawer on top with brass loop hardware and a keyhole escutcheon; it has hand cut dove tails. Legs are barley twist and connected by a flat shaped support. The legs rest on bun feet.After Paul Sawyier Offset Lithograph "Going to the Spring": An offset lithograph titled Going to the Spring after Paul Sawyier. Sawyier (1865-1917), an American artist primarily known for landscapes, lived and worked in Frankfort, Kentucky and chose central Kentucky as the focus of his work. This piece depicts a woman and child walking to fetch water from a spring near High Bridge, Kentucky. It is signed in the plate to the lower right. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the verso from Paul Sawyier Galleries, numbering it one of 2,000. It is set behind glass within a wood frame and a cream toned mat with a wire for hanging to the verso.Sterling Silver Salt and Pepper Shakers: A lot consisting of two pair of salt and pepper shakers in sterling silver overlay. Each pair is marked; the sterling is Mexican. One pair is taller and tapers down and the other are short and taper upward.Henry G. Moon Framed Chromolithograph "Epidendrum Vitellinum": A framed chromolithograph print after Henry G. Moon titled Epidendrum Vitellinum. Moon (1857-1905) was an English landscape and botanical painter, known for painting orchids. (See link for more information.) The picture depicts a variety of orange orchids. It is signed in plate to the lower right of the flower image, and titled bottom and center. The picture is matted in cream and green and framed in black with a gold inset. The dish has engraving on the lid and embossing on the lid and handles. There is a removable tray inside with a steaming hole.Hand-Painted Ceramic Thimbles from Japan and Germany: A grouping of hand-painted thimbles from Japan and Germany. There are two from Japan, each marked Enzoh, and one from Germany marked Sophienthal. Both are in cushions in original boxes.
