Walnut and Oak Dining Chairs: A group of four walnut and oak chairs. They have curved, decorated top rails over turned spindles gathered in the center with a horizontal splat. They have cane seats, and tapered and turned legs joined by double box stretchers. One is an arm chair with a different design to the back rest; it has tall finials, bead accents, and a vase-shaped center splat flanked by straight spindles.Vintage Ansonia Wood Mantel Clock: A vintage Ansonia wood mantel clock. The clock has a wood case with a black finish and lion head side handles. The clock has a brass bezel and glass cover that displays a gold-tone embossed bezel surrounding a white face with more decorative raised scrollwork on the center, black Roman numerals and hands with two key arbors. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum, an eight-day strike and chime mechanism and the clock stands on a plinth style base with brass scrolled feet.Antique American Renaissance Revival Marble Top Chest: An antique American Renaissance Revival marble top chest. This 19th century chest has a white marble top with gray veining with rounded corners over the walnut chest with three drawers, one over the other, each drawer with two inset and raised panels veneered in burl walnut with carved fruit pulls and a carved Renaissance style escutcheon between the panels, the keyhole centered under a pediment and over a bell flower; with the three drawers between the chamfered corners of the chest with applied split reeded columns with ring turnings at the top and base; the case resting on a molding above the shaped skirt between bracket feet. Original finish. No apparent maker’s mark.Antique American Eastlake Walnut Secretary: An antique American Eastlake walnut secretary. This late 19th century walnut and figured walnut veneer secretary has a top shelf with a three sided gallery and a central medallion of stylized lilies between a repeating pattern of pierced roundels carved with an incised X, over a bookshelf decorated in the back with a veneered panel of figured walnut between three incised carved lines with two supports in the front with three incised carved lines, topped with incised flowers, with a carved and pierced decoration between the supports; beneath the two shelves is the locking fold down door veneered in figured walnut, hat serves as a writing surface when down, and conceals a fitted interior; the desk above the lower cabinet with a single long drawer at the top with a figured walnut veneer panel between three incised carved lines, the drawer fitted with a carved diamond shaped escutcheon between two pressed brass ring pulls, with the long drawer ovFourth Printing "Franny and Zooey" & Later Edition "Nine Stories" by Salinger: A pair of novels by J.D. Salinger. This pair includes a first edition, fourth printing of Franny and Zooey, published by Little, Brown and Company in 1961. Also included is a later edition of Nine Stories, published by Random House in 1959. Each book is presented in a hardbound cover with a green decorative dust jacket.Antique Renaissance Revival Walnut Dropwell Dresser: An antique Renaissance Revival walnut dropwell dresser. This American three piece white marble top dropwell dresser is made of walnut with burl walnut veneer, having an architectural pediment with raised burl panels and applied turned demi-roundels over and around the frame of the rectangular mirror with flanking candle shelves at the base; over two marble top handkerchief boxes, the drawer fronts with raised burl veneer panels and a lower marble top in between; over a pair of long drawers, one over the other, each with a turned round escutcheon and a pair of brass plates with ring pulls; the case resting on a raised plinth. Each book was published for the Classics Club by Walter J. Black of New York during the 1940s.
