We are finishing up the year with a charming cottage sale in Southdowns. There are some really great MCM and antique items in this one. The homeowners were both photographers and loved to entertain. The home is filled with their personal work. Most are matted and ready to frame but there are also lots already framed and hanging throughout the house. Of course since we have already established that they were photographers, there has to be camera equipment, right? YES, there is one whole room dedicated to cameras, photos and equipment. Heck, there is even a dark room out back that I have yet to really explore.

They were both avid readers and have a vast library that spills into almost every room in the house. Truth be told there were books in almost every room but we have tried to condense them down to a few rooms.

You will also find some great vintage clothes, including sweaters, coats, jumpsuits and more.

The kitchen, although on the smaller side is packed to the gills with some cool stuff including Magnalite, cast iron including a Griswold fryer with the drip lid, Corningware, Pyrex, MCM barware, vintage China, stemware, everyday flatware, a boxed set of sterling silver flatware, second set of sterling silver flatware, vintage pedal style sewing machine in stand, gas dryer, side by side refrigerator, apartment/man cave fridge, lots of office electronics including several commercial copiers, telephones, vintage linens and quilts, vintage ladies hats and shoes, cool MCM lamps, US Presidents silver coin collection, antique Hoosier cabinet, multiple wooden bookshelves in several sizes, antique wooden highchair, rattan bookshelf and matching chest of drawers, woodworking tools, vintage hand planes, 2 generators, gas edger, yard cart, two sets of metal patio furniture, vintage cameras, darkroom equipment, vintage English riding saddle, three pairs of spurs, English leaning walking stick, and more.
