This gorgeous historical property built in 1898 is on the National register of Historic Places. The property, called the Ransonet House, was built by Leonce Ransonet for his wife Mary. Mr. Ransonet was a noted Breaux Bridge merchant and businesses man who ran a successful mercantile store on this property. Today this property has been lovingly restored and the acre and a half groomed by the same owners for the last 30 years. The mercantile store has long been closed but the 19th century brick walls surround the swimming pool and hidden gardens. Along with the treasures of the Queen Anne style home, we have the contents of an early brick warehouse, and a small "Maison Dimanche" which serves as a workout room.
Do know that this property is not handicap accessible and PLEASE no children at this sale.
