This is the estate sale of Terry Clay Girouard, a long time Northside High School art teacher  Mr. G, as his hundreds of students called him, was  beloved because of the encouragement and kindness he showed his friends, family  and students  . But besides being a beloved teacher, father and friend, he was also an advanced collector of all things beautiful.  You will have the  opportunity to see his fine historical collection inside of his beloved home nestled on the rolling hills of the Girouard Cattle  Ranch in Lafayette Parish.

Sale PictureThe large center one is Our Lady of Kazan, a Russian Orthodox icon.  18th century Spanish Colonial wooden carved St. Roch  on very early  pedestal-- the patron saint   of  bachelors, dogs, sickly cattle, the  falsely accused, surgeons and second hand dealers. Expert wood carving from the Alps region of Italy. A masterpiece of the Holy Familyphotoed  are  five  of seven miniature portraits circa  late 18th- early 19th century .
