This estate sale features the life long collections of Charles and Leola Cyr of Jeanerette LA and historical items from the Dr. Paul Cyr. Charles and Leola Cyr were life long collectors and this estate features military memorabilia from the Civil War through WW 2 and a fantastic collection of model trains.  Mrs. Cyr loved beautiful 19th century wheel cut lead crystal, fine china,  gorgeous early lamps, early toys and fantastic antique furniture.

Dr. Paul Cyr, Charles' father, was the Lieutenant Governor under Huey Long.  This estate features fascinating items such as his original dental cabinet and tools, tons of historical paper ephemera including the 1906 New Iberia/ Jeanerette city directory, tons of early Iberia advertising and photographs, plus fascinating early books.   .

 

As you can imagine this is an extremely work intensive sale and we are discovering new items daily, so check back often.
