Description & Details

The estate sale of Melinda and Mickey Mangham is THE estate sale of 2020.  This beautiful 6,000 sq ft A. Hayes Town designed mansion is filled to the very top with beautiful treasures including Dan Bouligny designed draperies, matching bed spreads, and upholstered pieces.  No expense was spared on these beautiful home furnishings.

Mr. Mangham was a former Academic All- American right end who scored LSU's only touchdown for a win over Clemson in the 59 Sugar Bowl.  This win concluded the 58 season and  secured the title of 1958 National Football Champions.  Mr. Mangham went on to have an extremely successful career as an oil and gas attorney.  His office is filled with everything LSU and includes  tons of antique toys, beautiful fine books and military memorabilia..

Mrs. Mangham, a noted educator was named White House Distinguished Teacher of the US  by both George Bush and Bill Clinton. The list of her many teaching awards would go on for pages,  but the biggest impact she made was on her hundreds of students who truly loved her and she them.  As a retired teacher with 34 + years of teaching, I am EXTREMELY honored and humbled to hosting the estate sale of this teaching legend.

Please make plans to attend this estate sale.
