Description & Details
Miss Flora Levy was from a pioneer Lafayette Jewish family . Miss Flora died in 1980 and she left her Saint Street area home and furnishings to the University but she allowed Dr. Maurice duQuesnay to live in her home until his death. Dr. duQuesnay has passed and the Levy home has reverted back to UL and we have been allowed in to sell the contents.
This estate is classified as a "Dirty Dig". I have no water to clean the items and do not have time to tag everything but we have access to the estate this Friday afternoon June 17 from 1 PM--5 PM. If you like to dig and like historical Lafayette LA items at a fraction of the usual cost, this sale will be for you.
There is a back building that is totally undiscovered but by the sale date, I should have the key.
Happy Digging!
The University will allow only 15 shoppers in the home at a time.
