This is a fabulous sale nestled in a sweet little neighborhood in the town of Lutcher.
We are liquidating the estate Of Louis and Peggy Woods, previous owners of Airline Motors Restaurant and Bar.
There are many fine things and collectibles here.
First let me start with the shop; there is a full shop including many tool boxes, tools, several vintage copper fire extinguishers, an old bullet shape air compresser, a 400 lb antique anvil(made by Columbian) a large gumbo pot, some fishing supplies and a large indoor garage sale. THIS AREA OF THE SALE WILL OPEN AT 8 AM AND NUMBERS TO GET IN WILL BE HANDED OUT AT THIS TIME AS WELL
Inside is chocked full of many nice and pretty things. The house is full of of very high quality furniture---several bedroom sets, a beautiful dining room table with a matching china cabinet--all in impeccable condition. Also several Lazy Boy chairs, washer /dryer/refrigerator and freezer .
There is also a very nice roll top desk and a heavy coffee table with inlays.
There are many framed prints including some Frederic Remington Proofs and several Amsterdam Audubon Prints. Also many framed Louisiana Plantation Homes and other Louisiana landmarks.
There are many relics and collectibles from the old Airline Motors Restaurant...come get a piece of History. Back in the day Everyone traveling along Airline Hwy stopped at Airline Motors for the most delicious food!!
Included in this sale is also a collection of books some dating back to the early 1800's.
