H&H Estate Sale- Carey Hammett’s estate in DeLimon

H&H ESTATE SALE - Save the date for the late interior designers lovely 3 story condo in DeLimon. Mrs Hammett was the owner of the 20th Century Shop on St. Charles Avenue many years ago.  She had a passion for design, architecture and all that is beautiful.  She accumulated a vast collection of lovely antiques and  decorative smalls.  This is a huge sale: Pairs of French chairs, beautiful English Adam settee, terrific African four post carved bed, French painted desk, Fabulous Tara Shaw  Louis XVI style day bed  includes custom linen bedding, terrific antique  French iron base cypress top dining table English secretary, Great Colonel Rue chandelier painted carved wood with tassels, numerous sets of fine china,  oriental rugs ( Persian and large Aubusson) fabulous Aubusson tapestries hung as art, neat carved religious figures, lots of silver serving pieces - trays, casseroles, candlesticks and lots more , designer clothing and accessories, lots of costume jewelry, Full length fur coats, covered garage with many interesting finds: World Fair memorabilia, carnival pins, garden items- beautiful pair of  antique garden urns . We are also including a large selection of beautiful fine estate jewelry - (antique to contemporary ) from several estates in New Orleans. We will conduct the fine jewelry sale on SUNDAY (only) of this weekend sale. Numbers will be distributed at 8:00 on Saturday (later due to neighborhood restrictions) for our 9:00 opening. Furnishings and small will be reduced on Sunday as usual.   We will also do numbers on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. for our 10:00 a.m. opening .
