THIS ESTATE SALE IS 30% OFF SUNDAY and we are adding another weekend!
We are SO EXCITED to present our Antiques/Photo/Architectural Salvage Estate Sale on March 15-17th - that's Friday-Saturday 8AM-2PM and Sunday 12-4PM. Our client is none other than Joshua Mann Pailet, photographer and owner of the respected New Orleans Gallery of Fine Photography - so yes, there are many photo-related goodies for sale here!
And this is one of our fave kinds of sales - it's a big industrial space FILLED with unique, historic, vintage, salvaged, antique, practical, and decorative goodies at 2321 Tchoupitoulas St in New Orleans. Highlights include architectural salvage including old cypress and other local wooden boards from architectural sites including former plantation houses around Louisiana (some with hand cut saw marks, some up t0 6" thick), an abundance of old tin tiling, doors, windows, gates, sinks, toilets, cabinetry, a fabulous spiral staircase, iron safety bars, and other wood; Louisiana World’s Fair lighting, globes (beyong fabulous!!! in purple and pink twisted tube designs, and white 1980s “deco” globes; original architectural drawings old mid-century Louisiana homes by Leonard Spangenberg (some condition issues, but a nice offering); Gottlieb’s 1976 Surf Champ pinball machine by Gottlieb (we tried it and works!); jukebox that needs some TLC; antique and vintage photo enlargers, additional photographic equipment and a collection of photography (instant ancestors, cabinet cards, contemporary/recent portrait photos including works by Herman Leonard that were displayed at his jazz funeral, Miles Davis and SO MANY VARIETIES OF FLAT FILES (see photos and Facebook Live video); records, books + electronics; vintage clothing; old iron spiral staircase with paddle steps; old coiled nautical rope (two, actually), and ship’s hoist; dental cabinet in minty green (jewelry display, perhaps?); multiple armoires, etageres, display cabinets and wonderful old store display cabinets + counters; so many chairs, some vehicle chairs; Craftsmen tool chests; cases for trade shows/music instruments/photo equipment; original art, posters; purple “egg” barstools from Record Ron’s; Danny Lyon’s book The Bikeriders; leaded glass; retro barstools; Deco furniture; so many chests, dressers; Miller High Life neon; pasta display cabinet in glass/wood; other Louisiana World’s Fair collectibles (hats + more); powertools; barrister’s bookcase; hat sticks; chiffarobe; photography + photography display; slag and stained glass lighting; TONS of frames, many with glass; Spinks v Ali poster for 1978 New Orleans fight; and MUCH MORE!!!
