Privately Listed Sale
Description & Details
Rain or Shine: like the US Post Office, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”
Smaller home with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths - entire contents. Including a 2001 Cadillac Deville with 54,xxx miles.
Whole house is included. Small appliances, furniture, women's and shoes, several pieces of mid-century modern furniture (Henredon and others), vintage Thomas 80 pc set of china circa 1908-1939, dinner ware and glassware, vintage stereo equipment/turntable, vintage Pyrex, Hoveround mobility chair with new batteries (never used). The list goes on and on.
For reference, we included a few screen prints of items in the estate, and corresponding listings on eBay. These are NOT our listings. Thought it would be nice to show some potential values of various items. For example: the Hoveround mobility chair is reasonably valued at $1,500. At the estate sale, we have it selling for $500. I could not see where it was ever used. Original batteries were never charged, so we replaced them with brand new Duracell batteries this week, and those alone cost $250.
As stated in the terms. Items are all PRICED TO SELL. No gimmicks. The goal in every estate sale should be to end up with a completely empty house. Never seen where overpricing accomplishes that goal. Should be a non-frustrating sale for all buyers. Uniformed security on site.
