This sale is being conducted by Deep South Estate Services. It is in the heart of Spring Lake Estates, just off Line Avenue. This sale contains some very fine paintings and antiques collected from all over the south and is one of the best quality sales Shreveport has had in many years. For the fine antique lover, this sale is one you will not want to miss. Sales will be cash only, they will hold your item for you to go secure funds if necessary. Prices will be firm Thursday, with 25% off Friday morning until 1 pm, when prices will be reduced by 50% until closing at 3 pm. This sale includes a number of original and limited signed edition artworks from local, regional, national and international collectible artists.  Some of the artists include:  illustrator Frederic Sands Brunner and his original 1936 oil on canvas which became the cover for "This Week"  magazine Christmas edition;  Gail Sherman Corbett original oil on canvas of "Paris Boulevard" (sold at Sothebys and New Orleans Auction);  Helen Maria Turner (New Orleans and New York), oil on panel attributed to Washington Bogart Cooper (TN, New Orleans, Natchez) of a military officer;  Joe Grandee (Texas) signed litho in wonderful old frame topped with a carved eagle;  Eugene Delcroix (New Orleans photographer) of Spanish Court and Brulatour Court in  the Franch Quarter;  Louisiana sportsman/nature artist Brett Smith signed litho;  20th century bronze (the Cheyenne) by Frederic Remington;  folk art painting of Johnny Cash in the style of Jimmie Lee Sudduth;  19th century Chinese ancestral double portrait;  original Victorian water color (1905) of Warwick Castle in England by Amy  Chester;  circa 1840 folk art portrait of young girl in a red rocker with her dog and cat;  oil on card stock of the Brulatour Courtyard in French Quarter with the signature "W. Very old marble statue of Chiness goddess Kuan Yin;  cast iron bench in the Gothic style, often called the "White House" bench because these benches were made in the 1850's to decorate the grounds of the White House in D.C.;  a large wrought iron window grille from New Orleans;  pair of Chinese famille rose lamps that came out of the A. Hays Town home on Sunflower Road in Bossier Parish, they have been rewired, new hand made shades and new acrylic bases;  a large pair of Charles X 5-light candleabra; pair of SP fruit flower compotes;  some antique, semi-antique and vintage Persian rugs;  late 19th and 20th century Chinese Famille rose bowl and garden seat from a museum deaccession in LA in the 1970s and purchased by a Motown Record Executive at that time (there is a pic of him with  Stevie Wonder);  early 1900s italian faience figure of a queen;  a George III period demilune table circa 1770-1810 with the sticker/tag from the London Antiques Dealer still on the underside;  a 4 panel, two sided  Chinese coromandel screen;  a wonderful bronze statue of a Roman soldier;  a signed sculpture of a boy by Charles Vital-Cornu;  a Maitland Smith "crane lamp" (quite large);  very large Federal style bullseye mirror with carved eagle at top;
