Thatcher Estate Sales – "Sold Table" Policy
To ensure fairness for all customers—especially those who arrive early and wait in line for specific items—we enforce a "Sold Table" policy, not a "Hold Table" policy. The Sold Table is designated for items that a customer is actively purchasing. It allows shoppers to place their chosen items aside while they continue browsing. It is not a place to hold items temporarily while deciding whether or not to buy them. Creating large piles of items to sort through and selectively purchase later is not permitted. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a fair and enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.

Thatcher Estate Sales
Description & Details
We're almost ready to share a portion of this wonderfully packed estate with the public! The main event won't be until December, but we need more room for all the goodies in the house! For this sale, we will be opening the quilting cottage and a portion of the backyard to the public and the rest of the property will not be accessible. We need your help to empty the cottage so it can begin its next life as a Winter Wonderland!
Don't worry though, there is PLENTY to buy! If you are interested in creative pursuits that involve a needle, we have something for you, many somethings! If you knew Kaye, you likely know that she was endlessly creating one thing or another. This cottage was the space she dedicated to quilting and other fabric arts. We are still working through a massive volume of items, getting them sorted and priced and ready for y'all to shop, so I only have a handful of pictures to start. I will continue to add more and update this ad throughout the week. Note that this sale will run Saturday and Sunday rather than Friday and Saturday!!
Saturday October 17th 10:00-4:00
Sunday October 18th 12:00-4:00 or until it is all gone!
Inside the cottage you will find everything you need related to quilting, needlepoint, crochet, knitting, embroidery, pine needle basket weaving, beading, general sewing, and likely other crafts I'm forgetting.
Some highlights:
Quilting fabric by the ton, upholstery and other home decor textiles, vintage and newer quilt kits and patterns, silks, hand dyed and batik, Needlepoint canvases, surgers, sewing machines, embroidery machine, Epson printer, sewing tables, silk flowers
Notions, including, but not limited to: regular and specialty needles, thread (many types), floss, silk ribbon, scissors, rotary cutters for days, backing, batting, muslin, iron on, patterns for everything, Viking machine attachments, books, magazines, plastic pattern templates, cutting mats, rulers, tape measures, glues, fabric marking pens, felting tools, pine needle basket bottoms and tops, beads, rick rack, elastic, zippers, buttons, pins, pin cushions, irons, and more.
FABRIC will be priced in a few different ways, depending on what it is. We will have scraps and bolts and everything in between. Home decor fabric will be measured and priced, quilting cotton will be sold in a variety of ways. We have fat quarters and scrap bags, we have bundles and we have pieces large and small. We have kits never opened, barely started, and nearly finished. We have finished quilts and quilt tops.
I'm still learning my way around all this, but we are doing our best to make this sale easy to shop no matter which fabric art interests you! More updates to come, see you soon!
I just remembered the elk racks and all the yard tools, I'll add some info on those soon!
