There will be one central check out area with 3 cashiers in the large room when you enter the home, a cashier at the garage area, and another cashier in the jewelry room. We will accept cash and cards. All items inside the home, except for items inside the jewelry room, must be paid for at that large check out area. Inside the jewelry room, only 2 people will be allowed at a time to enter the jewelry display area, and an armed guard will monitor that traffic area. No large purses or bags allowed in that room.
Items in the garage must be paid for at that cashier site, there will be no entrance from garage into the home, all must enter home via the front door where traffic will be monitored by an officer. Items purchased outside cannot be brought inside the home.
The home is large and spacious, there are 14 rooms downstairs, 3 large rooms upstairs. Don’t miss the laundry room, butler’s pantry, silver room and guest bedroom, just off the kitchen. There are lots of breakable items throughout so PLEASE—NO CHILDREN------. We have placed signs throughout the home to assist you in your shopping. It is possible that we have to limit the number of shoppers inside the home.
Bring help to load large purchases. There will be a holding area for you to place items you want to purchase as you continue shopping and a wrapping area near the check out area.

WELDON ESTATE SALES, WINFRED & PATSY, ESTATE PROS, CINDY WILKINSON, AND ERIC JACKSON ESTATE SALES HAVE COMBINED FORCES TO BRING YOU AN UNBELIEVABLE SALE THIS THURSDAY—SATURDAY, The fabulous estate of John and Alta Franks, 3700 Old Mooringsport Road, Shreveport, La. 71105, 10----4 Thursday, July 6—Saturday, July 8, their family home, 8,000 square feet plus a 3 car garage.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO, AS IT WILL MAKE YOUR SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EASIER.........
The gates to the property will open at 8 am. There will be 1 or more sheriff deputies to monitor parking in the assigned area. NO parking on Old Mooringsport Road, you will be ticketed. If you desire to be there when the gates open, you may temporarily park and wait in the parking lot across the street from Trinity Heights Church, do not park in the lot where church is situated.
The entrance to the home will be through the front door only. Another sheriff deputy will monitor traffic there. The garage will open at 10m for shopping there, but no entrance to the home through the garage. All items in the garage must be paid for there at that cashier station. Items paid for in the garage cannot be brought into the home, you will need to place in your car or arrange for them to be held there.
There will be a large check out area in the home, with 2 or 3 cashiers along with a wrapping station. All items in the home will be paid for there, except that the jewelry and a large group of smalls, purses, and furs. These items will be located in a separate room where an armed sheriff deputy will monitor traffic and only 2 people at a time can enter the jewelry area. Any item located in that room must be paid for in that room at that cashier station. Jewelry purchases will be placed in a sealed bag for you.
There will also be other armed Sheriff Deputies and plainclothes security folks throughout the entire home at all times. Monitored security cameras are located throughout the home.....
There are 14 rooms downstairs and 3 big rooms upstairs, and each room is filled. After the first few hours, the garage doors will be closed and entrance to garage will be through the kitchen laundry area. Don't fail to explore the entire home as each room is full. We have placed several signs throughout to assist you.
There are a huge amount of breakable items in the home, we ask that you do not bring small children to the sale.
