Description & Details

This is a BIG one. Please read carefully, as there is information you will need to be prepared to shop this one! The sale includes a large house, garden, greenhouses, and more.

The line will form near the parking area by the barn. Numbers will be handed out to those waiting. The greenhouses and barn will be open for shopping about 30 minutes prior to opening. The line will then reform in number order at the back of the house. The pool area and house will open at the advertised start time.

Directions: Check that your GPS is taking you to the proper street as it sometimes sends people to the road next to it. I will post a pin on Facebook the day before the sale. The street is gated, the gate will be open 2 hours prior to opening on Thursday and 1 hour prior to opening Friday and Saturday.

Parking is in a field at the rear of the house, to access it you will have to drive down a long dirt road. It is maintained, but it is still narrow and rocky. Sargeant Jackson will be on site to assist with parking. Please find Thatcher Estate Sales on Facebook and watch the relevant video. Note: due to the location of the parking area, customers will be entering the house from the back.

Wear proper footwear: There is a bit of a walk (also a dirt road) from the parking area to the house. There is plenty to shop on your way there, but if you need assistance getting from the parking area to the house, we will pick you up and drive you closer!

No children under 15: Unfortunately we cannot allow children under the age of 15 at this sale. It is a large property with a pond, a pool, and lots of uneven ground. Please wear proper footwear and be careful!

No large bags or purses: We ask that you please leave large purses and bags in your vehicle (small crossbody purses are fine). We will have a large hold area and will provide shopping bags.

This sale includes a huge number of large and heavy items. If you plan to purchase one of these items, please come in a vehicle that will accommodate it if possible. We will have movers on site for most of the hours we are open. They will load most items at no additional charge. They will also be available for deliveries at the customer's expense. If you need an item delivered, please call/text Lonnie at 318.298.2695. There will be additional time to pick up items on Sunday from 1-4

Pull the card/tag from large items and ask a member of our staff for a sold sticker. Present the card at checkout to pay.

Please do not wander the grounds. The house is on 20 acres. We understand the urge to explore, but we ask that you please stay within the designated areas.
