Auctioneers Note: It is with great pleasure to have accepted the contract to handle part three of the Burbridge Foundation Collection (the first having been held at Sotheby’s, NYC in the fall of 1996, shortly after the death of Robert Burbridge in 1994). This collection demonstrates the keen eye of Robert Burbridge (1907-1994), who began scouring the country for antiques in the 1950’s. We invite you to discover for yourself this collection which has been in storage for over 25 years.
