Like anywhere throughout New England, local history takes a precedent when identifying eras of use to various buildings, residential and otherwise. Here in Barnstable, a stone's throw from the village, is a house where 20thC generations enjoyed summer visits with parents and grandparents. The family, sadly, must now let the property go, but the objects still inside reflect a curatorial philosophy to many categories. Yankee Estate Sales is pleased to offer several significant collections this weekend as well as an array of Vintage cottage style furnishings.
