Brewster Estate Sale (Attn: Crafty People)

Description:  

This house is chock-a-block full!  The lady that lived here was into crafting and cooking, and when she had an interest, she jumped in with both feet and did it 100%.  There are probably about 1000 cookbooks, more than a 1000 craftbooks and magazines, two large commercial quality looms (being sold at a fraction of the retail price), a literal ton of craft supplies (yarn, fabric, etc), probably about a 1000 dress patterns dating back to the 1960's era, craft supplies and more.

There is a lot of cooking supplies.  Mid-century enamelware (Dansk), pots, pans, copper cookware, Pyrex, pottery, china, glass, art glass, figurines (lots of owls), books, furniture (lots of 1960-1970's mid century), vintage and contemporary clothing-purses-shoes-hats-scarves, etc.  Shelves of holiday decorations (Christmas, Easter, etc).  

A portion of the basement is full of tools, mostly for wood working or metal working.  There is also a number of fishing pools, reels and fishing supplies.  

There are some vintage bikes, garage items, yard tools, lawnmowers, etc.  

There is so much here that it will take time to look around.  Don't plan on getting in and out of this house in 15 minutes, there is simply too much to see.  

This Sale Rating:  Silver

Rating Guide: We rate our estate sales on a scale from Bronze to Platinum. 

Platinum:  A really good sale. Everything is top notch quality.  Fine antiques or good clean name brand contemporary items.  A sale not to be missed.  Only the finest homes with the best quality material get this rating.  If you are only going to hit one sale this weekend, make sure that this is it!  

Gold: Good clean quality sale.  Mostly higher end, you will not want to miss this one.  

Silver: Nice mixture of material.  Some good items, some low end. Pretty much something for everyone. 

Bronze:  Just stuff.  But priced to move!

Special Instructions:

Freeman's Way is a busy road, however there should be plenty of parking on the street as there are nice wide shoulders, but make sure that you are parked off of the street completely.   If you are coming close to the opening of the sale we encourage people to bring stickers marked “Sold” with your name on it to place on larger items that you want.  Just make sure that you are definitely taking the piece as once you put the sticker on it, you bought it.

Some items that appear in the photos may not be there on sale day.  Photos are often taken up to 2 weeks before the sale.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon for owners or family members to decide at the last minute not to include an item in the sale.  On the other hand, there are always many items that are not pictured that come out of boxes, cabinets, etc that will be available on sale day.
