Yankee Estate sales

Saturday Oct. 21, Yankee Estate sales will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE at its new location in Chatham.  We've been calling it a "shop" because it has name and there are items for sale.  In the past months, we've also called it a "storage area" because it has lent its shelter for a myriad of furnishings and accessories.  And most often, the location has earned the status of "Work in Progress".  The shop name is "Seaside Melange".  "Seaside goes without explanation for any Chatham location...and "Melange" is one of those fancy, fru-fru French words that means MIXTURE.   Items in storage here are a MELANGE of Antiques, Vintage and contemporary hand-picked treasures that are pleasing in style, collectibility and price.  And yes, Bonnie and Susan's latest adventure is truly a "work in progress"...we will entertain equitable offers, thoughtful suggestions and polite criticisms...if you already know us then you are aware of our capabilities of driving a hard bargain with reasonable expectations!!!  (is this an oxymoron???).  Categories in our shop include modest and eclectic decoratives, clean upscale furniture, local art and prints, a variety of art glass and art pottery, Claire Murray hooked rugs, fine jewelry and costume jewelry, NWT ladies handbags, country Folk Craft, Cape Cod theme accessories.  Drop by 39 George Ryder Rd on Saturday 9-4 (we share the building with Cape Cod Tree & Landscape and there is plenty of parking directly across the street at Job Lot).  Enjoy a Halloween treat (no tricks!) and shop for early Holiday gifts, items for your own collections and/or something new for your decor!!!  See You There!!!
