Dennis "Pretty Things" Estate Sale

Wow!  And this is only part 1, the second part of the sale is April 7th and 8th. 

I am calling this the "pretty things" sale because everything is pretty much a "pretty" name brand collectible.  

There is an incredible amount of material in this sale.  Thousands of individual pieces.  Huge Hummel Collection (200+), Huge Madame Alexander Doll Collection, Bunnykins figurines, Precious Moments, Germany nutcrackers, art glass, cut glass, asian porcelain, stuffed animals, records, hundreds of dolls, couches, kitchen items, outdoor statuary (40-50 pieces from high to low quality), christmas decorations (a crazy amount), holiday decorations, china, plates, miniature doll furniture, barbie dolls, and much more.  

The sale takes place in the main house (1st floor only this time), the yard items, and the barn (also first floor only this time).  While I would love to let everybody in at once like most sales, We are going to allow 25 people into the main house and 10 people into the barn at a time.  If it is safe to let in more, we will do so.  Space is limited and there are too many breakable items.  We will start handing out numbers at 8AM.  

This Sale Rating:  Gold / Platinum

Rating Guide: We rate our estate sales on a scale from Bronze to Platinum. 

Platinum:  A really good sale. Everything is top notch quality.  Fine antiques or good clean name brand contemporary items.  A sale not to be missed.  Only the finest homes with the best quality material get this rating.  If you are only going to hit one sale this weekend, make sure that this is it!  

Gold: Good clean quality sale.  Mostly higher end, you will not want to miss this one.  

Silver: Nice mixture of material.  Some good items, some low end. Pretty much something for everyone. 

Bronze:  Just stuff.  But priced to move!

Special Instructions:

There will be a police officer to help with parking from 9AM to 1PM.  Please park on only one side of the road, route 6A is very busy.  The Red Pheasant Inn is next door, and they have been kind enough to allow us to use their parking lot, so there is some parking there. Please bring your own boxes and packing material, we will not have near enough and almost everything in this sale is breakable!  If you are coming close to the opening of the sale we encourage people to bring stickers marked “Sold” with your name on it to place on larger items that you want.  Just make sure that you are definitely taking the piece as once you put the sticker on it, you bought it.

Some items that appear in the photos may not be there on sale day.  Photos are often taken up to 2 weeks before the sale.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon for owners or family members to decide at the last minute not to include an item in the sale.  On the other hand, there are always many items that are not pictured that come out of boxes, cabinets, etc that will be available on sale day.
