Our pickup location is at 159 Maplewood Avenue Gloucester, MA. Contact us by phone, text or email to make an appointment for pick up.
1. All items are sold as-is, where is, with no guarantee implied. We go out of our way to take good pictures and give accurate descriptions of auction items. If you still have questions, please contact us via text at 978-395-7077 with your questions. Please include the lot number.
It is the responsibility of bidders to examine lots offered, ask questions and decide the amount they are willing to pay. Neither the auctioneer nor the consignors are responsible for the accuracy of written, or verbal descriptions of property offered.
2. We allow for preview by appointment. To make an appointment, text us at 978-395-7077.
3. All shipping and packing costs will be paid by the buyer. We recommend Easy Ship and Pack Gloucester MA. You may contact them for a shipping estimate either by calling 978-281-4641 or emailing easyshippack@gmail.com - It is the buyer's responsibility to make shipping arrangements and payment with Easy Ship and Pack, or buyer's shipper of choice.
4. Cape Ann Auction will drop off your item to Easy Ship and Pack at no additional charge.
5. A 20% buyer's premium will be added to the final bid price of each lot. Any silver, gold, or precious metal lots purchased, must be paid by check, money order or wire transfer.
6. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bids for any reason.
7. The record of the sale kept by Cape Ann Auction will be taken as the final record.
8. There are NO RESERVES on any lot in this auction.
9. Payment is expected immediately after the end of the auction. Items may be held until checks clear. High value items may require payment by wire transfer, check or cash. Higher value lots will be held until a check or wire transfer clears. A charge of $50 will be added to checks that are dishonored for any reason.
10. All sales are subject to the Massachusetts sales tax unless the buyer has a valid resale certificate.
11. Lots not arranged to be shipped 7 days after payment will be subject to $5/day storage.
12. We will ONLY ship to US and Canada.
13. Precious metal buyers with a total of $1000 or higher purchase must either pay with cash, wire transfer, or have their check payment cleared before we will release your items.
