We may request a valid ID upon pickup, or shipping.
All sales are final. There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges. All items are sold as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied. Descriptions and photos are provided to the best of our ability, but are not a substitute for your own due diligence. While in Preview Mode, lots may be added, descriptions corrected, and details updated. Preview is only an indication of what will be included in the sale.
2. Bidding & Payment - By placing a bid, you are entering into a binding contract to purchase the item(s) if you are the winning bidder. Your credit card on file will be charged automatically at the close of the auction.
Invoices must be paid in full before items are released for shipping or pickup.
3. Pickup The pickup date/time for this auction is Monday, 4/20/26 between 10 AM and 5 PM - In rare cases an alternative pickup may be arranged by texting to us for an appointment at 978-395-7077 Items not picked up within the designated timeframe may be considered abandoned, and no refunds will be issued.
4. Shipping Fees are posted in the terms and conditions, and item descriptions.
5. Anti-Fraud Measures
For high-value or sensitive items (precious metals, jewelry, “big ticket” items), winning bidders may be required to: E-Sign a Statement of Purchase and provide a valid photo ID. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the sale and forfeiture of the item(s).
6. Liability & Risk
Cape Ann Auction is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property once items are picked up or shipped. Insurance is included in all shipments, and claims must be filed with the carrier. Bidders are responsible for ensuring accurate contact and payment information is on file prior to bidding.
7. Acceptance of Terms
