Hyannisport Estate Sale (lots of antiques)

Description:  

Interesting home in historic Hyannisport (near the Kennedy compound) that has been in the same family for over 80 years. Antiques, nice cottage furniture, beds, books, games, tools (antique and newer, lots of wood working tools), kitchen items, garage items, chairs, couches, prints, Elizabeth Mumford signed prints (she was a family relative), Christmas ornaments and decorations, some vintage toys (pressed steel trucks in the photos), glass, china, some better kitchen cooking pots-pans-utencils, etc.  There are tubs and tubs filled with smalls that need to be unpacked so there will be lots of small decorative items that are not pictured as well.  All priced to sell.  

This Sale Rating:   Silver

Rating Guide: We rate our estate sales on a scale from Bronze to Platinum. 

Platinum:  A really good sale. Everything is top notch quality.  Fine antiques or good clean name brand contemporary items.  A sale not to be missed.  Only the finest homes with the best quality material get this rating.  If you are only going to hit one sale this weekend, make sure that this is it!  

Gold: Good clean quality sale.  Mostly higher end, you will not want to miss this one.  

Silver: Nice mixture of material.  Some good items, some low end. Pretty much something for everyone. 

Bronze:  Just stuff.  But priced to move!

Special Instructions:

There are "No Parking" signs on the street, but the homeowner says that when there is a function at the Kennedy compound and when church is in session people park there with no problems.  Also, there is a church next door that should have some parking as well.   If you are coming close to the opening of the sale we encourage people to bring stickers marked “Sold” with your name on it to place on larger items that you want.  Just make sure that you are definitely taking the piece as once you put the sticker on it, you bought it.

Some items that appear in the photos may not be there on sale day.  Photos are often taken up to 2 weeks before the sale.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon for owners or family members to decide at the last minute not to include an item in the sale.  On the other hand, there are always many items that are not pictured that come out of boxes, cabinets, etc that will be available on sale day.
