All credit cards accepted as well as cash. No personal checks, please. ALL SALES ARE FINAL and AS IS. There are no returns or exchanges. Please bring boxes, bags and material to wrap items. We sometimes have wrapping materials but not always. We try our best to make sure that items pictured are available for our customers on sale day however the client may periodically decide to keep some pictured items at their discretion. Please contact us to confirm availability. We do not provide pricing pre-sale and will not respond to inquiries asking for pricing. Please pay attention to "No Parking" signs as we want to keep the streets safe for emergency vehicles if one were needed in the area. Numbers are given out at 7:30 with doors opening at 9:00 a.m. Please do not begin a sign up list - it just gets too complicated! You must be present to receive a number. Parking for Sale: You cannot park on Lincoln Road - and, there will be a police detail to be sure of it! The Lincoln Public School is just the next driveway up. Enter the driveway and follow signs for Hartwell Bldg. You can park there. Head toward that building, on the path, keeping the school garden to your right. Follow the path right up to the house! If you need to drop someone off at the driveway on Lincoln Road - feel free - then go park and walk up! Of course, when you purchase an item, you are welcome to come up the driveway and we will help you load up!

Holy Moly! What an amazing sale! Our client is a double Pulitzer Prize winning author, but, is best known for his biography of Abraham Lincoln. He published more than 30 books on United States political and literary figures and the history of the American South. In addition to everything else in the house, their entire research library is for sale! The library consists of approximately 10,000 books on general American history and literature, the Civil War, Lincoln, slavery; social, political and cultural history, many books on Thomas Wolfe, first editions, etc.
