TERMS OF SALE. If you are buying furniture please bring assistance. If you hire a shipper to pick up make sure they have assistance. Pick up dates will be Thursday, March 5, 12 from 10-5. Please call in advance so that the staff can have your items ready.Internet bids are handled by members of our firm who relay bids to/from the internet live bidding console. A 23% Buyer's Premium will be added to all items purchased at the auction. From the Estate of Vincent M. McGrath, Marblehead, MA Vinny possessed a discerning eye for Americana antiques and a deep affinity for Marblehead, Massachusetts. For more than sixty years, he furnished his 1724 home with Americana and Marblehead antiques, guided by a strong spirit of stewardship and respect for history. A dedicated history teacher, Vinny began his career at Marblehead High School in 1962 before moving to Salem State College, where he taught a wide range of history courses from 1965 until his retirement in 1996. He was a fifty-year member of both the Okommakamesit Veteran Firemen?s Association and the Gerry 5 Organization. Vinny truly loved living in Marblehead and took great pride in being actively involved in the life of the town. The first day will be an entire Marblehead estate from early Americana, paintings, prints, cupboards, estate rugs, many good small items, local Marblehead items, Marblehead pottery, maps, along with a private collection of autographs, baseball cards, collector coins and autograph baseballs, Ted Williams, Willie Mays and many others..
