Chatham Estate Sale (3-Day Sale, 1967 T-Bird)

***Last minute addition, we are offering a 1967 Ford Thunderbird as part of the sale.  The car was last registered in 2017 and we can't find the title (although we do have the 2017 registration).  According to the Massachusetts Department of Motor Vehicles no title is necessary on cars older than 1980.  The car is being offered for $6,000 "as is, where is" meaning that we offer no guarantee as to operating condition.  Also, because the car is not currently registered or insured, we can't allow anybody to test drive it so it will have to be towed away.  We accept cash or certified bank check.  If you want to purchase the car, a $500 deposit will hold it for you until you can secure a bank check the same day. I don't have anymore information, if you are interested, you will have to come to the sale and examine the car in person.

Description:  

Three day sale Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  A nice mixture of mostly mid-century and antique pieces.  The owner of the house was a clothing buyer for Filene’s and Jordan Marsh in the 1950’s-1980’s and there are hundreds of pieces of vintage clothing, many of it name brand and high quality.  Lots of better name brand pieces throughout the house such as a LeCoutre clock, vintage enamel cookware, vintage clothing, rugs, nautical items, antique ships knee, working cannon, outdoor statuary, quality metal outdoor furniture, crystal (Baccarat, Waterford, etc), prints, paintings, beds, furniture, records, large cast iron old salt doorstop, pachinko machine, antique time clock, barware, jewelry, asian decorative pieces (picked up on buying trips to Asia), and much more.  There may be a classic car as part of the sale as well, I will update with photos if this is the case.    All priced to sell.

Rating Guide: We rate our estate sales on a scale from Bronze to Platinum. 

Platinum:  A really good sale. Everything is top notch quality.  Fine antiques or good clean name brand contemporary items.  A sale not to be missed.  Only the finest homes with the best quality material get this rating.  If you are only going to hit one sale this weekend, make sure that this is it!  

Gold: Good clean quality sale.  Mostly higher end, you will not want to miss this one.  

Silver: Nice mixture of material.  Some good items, some low end. Pretty much something for everyone. 

Bronze:  Just stuff.  But priced to move!

Special Instructions:

There should be plenty of parking on the street.  If you are coming close to the opening of the sale we encourage people to bring stickers marked “Sold” with your name on it to place on larger items that you want.  Just make sure that you are definitely taking the piece as once you put the sticker on it, you bought it.

Some items that appear in the photos may not be there on sale day.  Photos are often taken up to 2 weeks before the sale.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon for owners or family members to decide at the last minute not to include an item in the sale.  On the other hand, there are always many items that are not pictured that come out of boxes, cabinets, etc that will be available on sale day.
