A collection of (17) watercolor paintings by

Charles P. Demetropoulos (1912-1976).

Charles was known as “ Mr. Copley Square ” and painted many Boston and area scenes including street scenes around the Copley square area. This sale will offer a private collection of (14) of his works which were on loan to Mt. Ida College , Newton , MA . His works includes scenes of Boston such as Back Bay Railroad tracks; North End; Vendone; Trinity Church; Charles & Boylston Streets; View of Boylston Street from Claredon St. to Old South Church; Prudential Center; Jimmy's Harbor Side; Fishing Boats – Boston Harbor; Boylston St. and Hancock Tower; Night Life – Washington St., c. 1950's; Arlington and Boylston Streets. Other scenes offered include Hofbrau; Homenc Ocean Liner; loading lumber logs; Snowdon and International High School & Josephs.

ANTIQUE ART WORK: Pair of Continental “Flemish” still-life floral oil paintings, (21” x 28”); (3) Spanish Colonial genre oil paintings, (15” x 21”)
