Osterville Estate Sale

 The house is down a short gravel road.  Parking is a bit of a problem, there is probably space for 10-15 cars in front of the house. Seaview road in front of the house is posted no parking, however I will have a police detail from 8-12 to allow for safe parking.  Please don’t park on other people’s lawns and obey the posted signs.  

Description:  

The house has been in this family for over 100 years and sits in a spectacular spot in Osterville.  Adam Sandler filmed part of a movie here as well.  It is being torn down so basically everything is for sale including doors, lights, appliances, fixtures, etc.  Also tons of antique furniture, beds, books, ephemera, china, glass, bicycles, rugs, outdoor furniture, artwork, chairs, mirrors, etc.  All priced to sell.  

This Sale Rating:  Gold

Rating Guide: We rate our estate sales on a scale from Bronze to Platinum. 

Platinum:  A really good sale. Everything is top notch quality.  Fine antiques or good clean name brand contemporary items.  A sale not to be missed.  Only the finest homes with the best quality material get this rating.  If you are only going to hit one sale this weekend, make sure that this is it!  

Gold: Good clean quality sale.  Mostly higher end, you will not want to miss this one.  

Silver: Nice mixture of material.  Some good items, some low end. Pretty much something for everyone. 

Bronze:  Just stuff.  But priced to move!

Seaview road in front of the house is posted no parking, however I will have a police detail from 8-12 to allow for safe parking.  Please don’t park on other people’s lawns and obey the posted signs.   If you are coming close to the opening of the sale we encourage people to bring stickers marked “Sold” with your name on it to place on larger items that you want.  Just make sure that you are definitely taking the piece as once you put the sticker on it, you bought it.

Some items that appear in the photos may not be there on sale day.  Photos are often taken up to 2 weeks before the sale.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon for owners or family members to decide at the last minute not to include an item in the sale.  On the other hand, there are always many items that are not pictured that come out of boxes, cabinets, etc that will be available on sale day.
