This beautiful 50 lot auction features antique and mid century modern paintings, drawings, posters and several illustrated books.  There are over 10 lots of original Harper's and Collier's posters from the estate of an antiquarian book dealer by artists:

Edward Penfield (considered the father of American poster art)
Ethel Reed (mysterious genius who disappeared in Europe after 1897)
JM Flagg (the artist behind those WWI Uncle Sam wants you posters)

And, there are several lots of beautiful illustrated books including:

A Majeska illustrated Seven Gothic Tales by Isak Dinesen aka Karen Blixen her first book
