Dennis Estate Sale ( Monday Sale!)

Description:  

This is a Monday sale from 10-3 (we can’t start until 10 in Dennis).  The house is located on Sea St in South Dennis, which is actually not really south, but rather on the bayside.  There is another Sea St in Dennisport so don’t get confused.

The house is located a stones throw from the beach and the road is posted “No Parking”.   I asked the Dennis PD if we could park on the street for this special occasion and they said “no, there is too much traffic” and they are correct, the road does get a lot of traffic.  Also, they said we could not hold the sale on a weekend because it is too busy.  Again, they are correct, it is too busy on the weekend.   There is simply too much material in this house to not do a sale. For that reason we are doing the sale on a Monday, the only day available.  

There is NO PARKING ON THE STREET.  If you park on the street, expect a parking ticket.  The Police Department has warned that that they will ticket.  We have arranged with several neighbors (mostly relatives of the family) to allow parking in their driveways and on some lawns.  We have about 10-15 spots available and will have somebody to help instruct where to park. To avoid having to park, you might even want to have somebody drop you off and pick you up when you are done.  Because of the limited parking, if you are driving, we are setting a 45 minute shopping limit to keep cars rotating and spaces available.   

Furniture, beds, tables, nice kitchen table w/ chairs and matching coffee table, rugs, books, basement items, tools, patio furniture, grill, china, glass, knick-knacks, holiday decorations, clothing, garage items, yard tools, etc.  All priced to sell.  

This Sale Rating:  Silver

Rating Guide: We rate our estate sales on a scale from Bronze to Platinum. 

Platinum:  A really good sale. Everything is top notch quality.  Fine antiques or good clean name brand contemporary items.  A sale not to be missed.  Only the finest homes with the best quality material get this rating.  If you are only going to hit one sale this weekend, make sure that this is it!  

Gold: Good clean quality sale.  Mostly higher end, you will not want to miss this one.  

Silver: Nice mixture of material.  Some good items, some low end. Pretty much something for everyone. 

Bronze:  Just stuff.  But priced to move!

Special Instructions:

 If you are coming close to the opening of the sale we encourage people to bring stickers marked “Sold” with your name on it to place on larger items that you want.  Just make sure that you are definitely taking the piece as once you put the sticker on it, you bought it.

Some items that appear in the photos may not be there on sale day.  Photos are often taken up to 2 weeks before the sale.  Unfortunately it is not uncommon for owners or family members to decide at the last minute not to include an item in the sale.  On the other hand, there are always many items that are not pictured that come out of boxes, cabinets, etc that will be available on sale day.
