This sale takes place in Pansy Haley’s childhood home, which her family owned for more than a century. An accomplished North Shore artist, Pansy continued painting well into her nineties. She and her husband, Joseph, shared a love of art, antiques, travel, and horses. The home holds ties to the Prince, Chickering, and Agassiz families, with items from those families featured in the sale. The Prince family once owned Marble House in Newport, RI. Pansy was descended from one of the four Prince brothers who founded the original Myopia Club. Joseph later served as a whipper-in at the Myopia Hunt Club.

Offerings include early English and American furniture; antiques and collectibles; fine china; Dorflinger, Venetian, and other crystal; Asian pieces; art by Charles Emile Heil and Elizabeth W. Roberts; more than 100 paintings by Pansy Haley; Wilkinson Toby jugs; sterling silver; linens; a Hermès saddle, other saddles and horse tack, and much, much more.
