It's been a remarkable season of conducting friends' estate sales. This one is a little close to home even if it is a region away. We are conducting my in-laws multi generation estate sale with a basement that keeps yielding once lost memories and vintage finds.
We are excited to invite the public into our family's home and share treasured pieces that can be reborn others' traditions.
First photos of the Steinway piano. It is free. We will pay $100 toward the move of the piano. You must hire professional piano movers. We will not help move the piano. You will get the $100 when it's loaded on the truck. It must be moved by Tuesday morning.
Beginning with the soul of the home a custom dining room table built in 1972 by a Massachusetts woodworker. It is an exceptional piece of New England craftsmanship with tucked away easy pull out ends that has the potential to sit up to 16 people. Thanksgiving, Passovers, and even Christmas when their blended friends and family visited. Gracious hosts setting a welcoming table.
A Mid-Century Asian inspired long sideboard, accented with bronze finishes will showcase holiday desserts and sides on top and serving pieces out of sight. This elegant timeless piece with clean lines grounds the room with efficiency and beauty.
Lovely glassware for Rosenthal to Wedgewood, cut and Blenko. Lovely pieces of something old into something new wedding presents.
In the mid-1960s The Honeymooners and young doctors spent a year volunteering in Uganda. During their off time they selected pieces for their future new home, crated and shipped them to to America. From Pokot and Maasai spears, Ugandan Paintings, Zimbabwe Musical instruments, herders cattle bell, beautifully carved ebonized statues of elders, medicine men and everyday life, to finger knives and an antique Tuareg 18th century camel saddle and sword. It's an amazing collection.
From Hank Williams Senior, classical to Blondie over 200 records!
