Fantastic Estate on one of Baltimore's most historic streets. This time capsule is one of the cities last Gatsby Era homes yet to be liquidated. We hope to see everyone at this sale full of unique merchandise. Sale to include, fine art, glassware, antique blue mark crock, electronics, antique books/magazines/paper, records, reel to reels, Trolley/Railroad Lanterns/signs/ephemera, Walter Durfee of Providence, R.I. ornately carved grandfather clock, , rugs, Knabe of Baltimore baby grand piano, antique furniture, sterling silver, German Kugels, vintage cameras (including Leica), tons of tools, clean Tiger River Spas Hot Tub, 1970-90 Proof Sets, and  a HUGE BASEMENT FOR DIGGING! Plan on spending lots of time at this sale - FOUR HUGE FLOORS OF MERCHANDISE - you can get lost in this old house!  We will line up according to numbers and unlike usual, we can let TONS of folks in the first waves since the house is huge! We may need to limit folks in the antique book room but besides that -there is ample room for a huge crowd - we will also have TWO CASHIERS for your convenience. We will have several LARGE HOLD TABLES in the front hall for shoppers to make some big piles - come find some treasures!

* NOTE RE: TALL CASE CLOCK - We will be accepting silent bids on the Durfee Clock all week long and she will be sold to the HIGHEST LEFT BID BY SATURDAY  2/29 AT NOON! You do not need to be present as long as we have your bid but you MUST BE ABLE TO PAY IN PERSON BY END OF SALE HOURS SAT (3pm). Once you have paid  (CASH ONLY) you can arrange pick-up Sunday 3/1 or within a few days after. The house is sold and being turned over to the new owners for renovation WED 3/4 so it must be gone by then. Anyone interested in previewing the CLOCK ONLY can make an appt. by texting Smitty at 410-336-0277.

*Again, to buy the clock you must have your best bid submitted by Sat 2/29 at noon and must pay by 3pm Sat 2/29 - CASH ONLY! If you are seriously interested in the clock this gives you ample time to arrange payment and pick-up for a smooth transaction.

WHY FOLKS LOVE OUR ESTATE SALES – NEWBIES PLEASE READ:

We are one of the last “old school – on-site estate liquidation companies” in the area. By that, we keep the sale to just two days. We open right at 9am Day 1 and we sell all day until 3pm, prices Day 1 are firm to keep the line moving. To insure our early-birds get first chance at the treasures of their choice – we are onsite by 7:30 am to give out numbers for a nice, orderly opening at 9am. One # per person and you must be present to get a number. You can then leave and get breakfast ect and be back a few minutes before 9 to line-up. Once we are open a couple hours, you don’t need a # - just come on in and shop.

WE WILL NEVER open early, pre-sell items, we don’t ship or sell online, we don’t hold items or take payment info over the phone – SIMPLY COME TO THE SALE AND GET IN LINE – IT’S THE ONLY FAIR WAY TO OPERATE A SALE. We also do not give out price information prior to sale day – again, just come to the sale. Day 2 we will discount items (usually 50% except precious metals) as well as make deal prices for unpriced household items.

 IMPORTANT – You will get a much better deal a few hours before final day close than a few minutes before closing. Doors are locked and our cashier & credit card machines are shut down right at stated closing time to finalize our accounting. Be sure to ALLOW PLENTY OF TRAVEL & SHOPPING TIME. In some cases when we are very busy in a full house, we may even stop allowing folks into the house BEFORE stated closing time to insure we close on time – again – PLAY IT SAFE AND COME EARLY. Our great sales run TEN HOURS each weekend – that’s plenty of time to come do some shopping. We accept CASH, CREDIT & DEBIT – sorry no checks.
