Marble Top Gentlemen's Dresser: An antique marble top gentlemen’s dresser. The dresser comprises: a long vertical mirror with small bracketed shelves to either side towards the bottom of the mirror; two small white marble topped stacked drawers to either side of a matching marble topped seat; two full length drawers; a scroll cut skirt and bracket feet. Decorative carving and molding including a large acanthus carving centered in the curved frame embellish the piece. The drawers feature dovetail joints, round matching wooden knobs, and wooden keyhole covers.Ornate Hand-Knotted Kashmar-Style Area Rug: A hand-knotted Kashmar-style wool area rug having a highly ornate pattern. This rug features a dense field of floral bouquet patterns among a symmetrical arabesque of vines, in shades of red, green and beige against a navy blue field. The wide red main border is embellished with a light grey and off-white scrolling design and acanthus details. Pastel pink and light blue floral motif guard borders accent the main border.
