Great Estates Hosts the Sale of the Summer "Normandie" Estate of Henry W. Petronis
Terms
We are not responsible for any accidents, slips, falls or other mishaps!
We would greatly appreciate CASH sales during this event. We do accept any Credit Card (5% fee) and Checks under $200. Cash always seems to make the line move a little faster! Thanks!
Please bring your own muscle for moving the large items. Our staff simply can't haul furniture - or heavy items during the sale hours! Arrangements can be made for delivery after hours or after the sale ends for a small fee.
Please understand this home was built in 1921 - with narrow, curved stairs. The main house is almost 11,000 sq feet - so wear comfortable shoes! 95% of the home is handicap accessible.
Welcome to Normandie
Please join us as we open the home, garden and collections of Henry W. Petronis - legendary car collector and lover of beautiful things!
60+ acres of waterfront property on a site so amazing you will think you have been transported to an island oasis. If nothing else, come to take in this view and enjoy the day in paradise! However, I feel certain you will find a treasure or two in the home, garden, full wood working shop, machine/welding shop and or the huge garage! There is really something for everyone at this sale.
For those of you unfamiliar with the property, Normandie sits on 360+ feet of water front land - it is 7/10th of a mile from the gate to the front door. You will be in awe of the fields, views and wildlife...but please watch out for the deer family! The tree lined drive will split 3/4 of the way down allowing you to park near the autobarn or the home. Both will have check out people inside. So, there will be no worry about hauling things from one building to another! PLEASE wear comfortable shoes...you will want to walk from one building to the next and comfy shoes will make the short trip a lot easier.
The home is filled with so many amazing pieces of furniture, art, books, rugs, linens, jewelry, clothing and so much more. Here is a short list of some of the highlights...
