PLEASE NOTE AUCTION PICK UP CHANGES: Winning items will be available to pick up from our warehouse at 7664 Airpark Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 starting Tuesday, March 24, 2020 through Saturday, March 28, 2020 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Winning bidders will be notified how to make an appointment on Monday, March 23, 2020.

ALL WINNING AUCTION ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP FROM OUR WAREHOUSE DURING THEIR APPOINTMENT TIMES ONLY. Items not picked up during the specified appointment times becomes the sole property of Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. If you would like your items shipped you MUST contact through the auction to let us know. Please see below for shipping terms.

SHIPPING: Unlike other services, Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. offers shipping services to buyers who cannot pick up their auction winnings during the removal period. Buyers taking advantage of Maryland Estate Treasures' shipping services must inform us before the end of the auction. Maryland Estate Treasures adds a $9.95 service fee per box shipped. Shipping for all framed art will include a $29 handling fee. Please see marylandestatetreasures.com/shipping for more information regarding Maryland Estate Treasures' shipping service.

REGISTRATION: Before you bid, users must register online. To help verify your identity, you must register​ using a valid credit or debit card. Validation requires requesting a $1 hold on funds of the credit or debit card. The hold will eventually expire. It is not a charge.

PAYMENT: At the end of the auction, we will charge the credit or debit card you used to register for the auction. Please make sure your credit or debit card information is up to date and has enough space for the charge.

SALES TAX: Maryland law requires all purchases to include the state's 6-percent sales tax. If you are a reseller or are registering on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, you must enter the information when you register. Resellers must provide a copy of their valid Sales & Use Tax License. Tax-exempt organizations must provide the Sales and Use Tax Exemption for your organization. We are required to maintain this information by law and will not make any exceptions.

Maryland law requires sales taxes to be collected on all purchases less than $200 regardless of reseller status.

BUYER'S PREMIUM: A buyer's premium is added to every purchase. A buyer's premium of 20% will be added when the hammer price is $10 or less. All other items will have a 15% buyer's premium added.

TERMS: This is a soft close auction. If a bid is received in the last 30 seconds before the auction closes, bidding is extended for another 30 seconds. This will continue until at least 30 seconds passes after the final bid.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. makes no guarantee, whether express or implied, with regards to a lot's condition, value, age, maker, authenticity, etc. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect all purchases before bidding.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. offers no returns on any lot for any reason. Credit card customers may not request a chargeback for any reason.

This auction is hosted from our warehouse at 1029 East Gude Drive, Suite 102, Rockville, Maryland. Auction lots may be previewed and inspected Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

If you are bidding on furniture please plan to bring someone to assist you to​load your vehicle. There is no guarantee there will be someone to help you when you arrive!

Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the auction closes and for any reason. We also reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the auction for any reason.

Buyer agrees that in any claim for loss or damage, Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. will under no circumstances be held liable for more than the total purchase price of the item in question.

Maryland Estate Treasures, Inc. retains complete ownership of all photographs posted on the auction website (hibid.com), marylandestatetreasures.com, and social media. Use of photographs without our written permission is strictly prohibited.
