Hi to all my loyal customers, many of whom have been with me since we opened back in July of 2010. This July we will be celebrated our eighth anniversary - can you believe it? Boy how time flies when you're having fun. To all my loyal regulars a big "THANK YOU," for sticking with me so long. You're going to like this sale because it has something for all of you from jewelry and vintage toys to tools, collectibles and a host of other goodies.
To all of you who are considering shopping at Caring Transitions of Montgomery County for the first time, I hope you will enjoy the experience and find what you're after. It may sound trite because the statement is so often abused but: WE TAKE CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS! Don't believe us? Don't take our word for it, ask any of our regulars why they continue to shop our sales. We think you'll find the common denominator is not just our fair market pricing, but how we go out of our way to make each and every one of our customers feel special. I've treated my customers all these years, as I would like to be treated. It's as simple as that. We hope you experience it for yourselves.
Now about this very nice sale in Highland this weekend. First, if you or a family member is looking for beautiful traditional furniture from Ethan Allen - an outstanding manufacturer of fine traditional furnishings - you're going to love shopping at this sale. We have not one but three (3), different living room groupings - all in excellent condition. So good in fact, that once you take it home your friends and family will think you bought it at - heaven forbid - full retail! There are coordinated loveseats with matching occasional and/or recliner chairs to go with the sofas. There are also coordinated coffee, sofa and end table sets so you can furnishing your complete living room for about 10% - 15% of what you pay for the same Ethan Allen furniture new,at the store; even on sale! You'll also find (although we don't anticipate it will last long) a complete five piece outdoor patio set that has been kept indoors it's entire life so it looks brand new. We have a set of four (4) wrought iron patio chairs in decent enough shape although they have been stored outside. So they will need the deft re-finisher's hand to bring these beauties back to life.
We have all the matching accessories too. Like lamps (table, reading and full illumination) and mirrors in a variety of sizes and finishes. Plus, accessories to finish off the perfect living room. We also have a complete bedroom set plus odd chests and night stands for those of you in the market for a single piece to complement your current bedroom set. WHY PAY RETAIL?
For our dealers and re-sellers, we have vintage, all steel Tonka Trucks from the 60's including a flatbed truck with an extremely rare complete set of white railing to finish the truck off. Find that at your typical estate sale. We also have a beautiful pick truck pulling a trailer, also in nice condition and in steel. NO plastic for my dealers. That's not all. We have a nice cowboy set with a "Barbie Scale" size cowboy (the matching cowgirl may be hidden in one of the boxes of dolls we have), a pair of gorgeous horses and tons of clothing, saddles, pistols with holsters, rifles with saddle cases and more; enough to keep a young child occupied for hours. We also have a very rare horse and buggy set in the same scale. We have dolls and doll clothing, a doll house, tons of furnishings and clothing - all from the 60's (a few from the 50's) & 70's. And we're just getting warmed up.
Looking for jewelry? We've got a super nice selection of costume jewelry including some nice Sterling Silver pieces and only a few gold pieces that you'll have to dig for some plan of coming early (my regulars you know what that means) for the best selection. We have a small selection of LP's including a few "ELVIS" and "FRANK SINATRA" LP's that we know will go quickly. Check out or tools and vintage camping equipment. We're also bringing some items that we didn't have time to photograph hi-end stereo amplifiers, a tuner, another smaller scale, fully stocked "General Store" doll house, including the miniature shopkeeper, a customer, pot belly stove to keep them warm and hundreds - and we mean hundreds - of stock items. There are well over five hundred (500) individual pieces that can fill the shelves of this General Store just waiting for a patient young person to work with his family and get the shop ready to open for business.
Well, I could keep going but why don't you just go straight to all the photos we took. You're bound to see something you like and we hope we'll see you this weekend at our Highlights In Highland Estate Sale.
