This is Part II of the Kensington/Silver Spring time capsule. Fantastic sale for lovers of vintage and antiques -- 72+ years accumulation. The homeowner's parents bought the house in 1945 and and she has lived there since she was a child. Everything is for sale. All rooms will be open including the basement. Everything has been removed from the 3rd floor and we have found many more treasures. The following is just a partial list of items for sale: Mission oak sideboard, Morris chair, antique Louis Vuitton motoring trunk, mahogany secretary, corner cabinet, dressers, bookcases, Hoosier style cabinet, many old steamer trunks, rugs, and all kinds of interesting metal lockers and cabinets. There are more vintage toys and games, vintage Xmas items, knives, coins, cigarette cases & lighters, Singer featherweight sewing table, many LPs (no Rock n Roll or Jazz), tons of collectibles, costume jewelry, linens, sewing items, vintage women's accessories including scarves, hankies, stockings, hats, small amount of vintage clothing, many more books (brought down from 3rd floor and includes old children's books), lots of ephemera, vintage comic books, office supplies, and much, much, much more.
The basement has a separate entrance with a short door, so caution is necessary. The rest of house is not accessible through the basement. If you have issues with mold or dust, please avoid the basement.
